Damascus governorate decided to consider the dump in Al-Moadamieh area as permanent
As part of its continuous efforts to raise the pace of reconstruction and in Damascus, the governorate decided to consider the dump in Al-Moadamiyeh area as a permanent dump for deporting the products of the plot excavations, building rehabilitation, and public facilities. This is an important step to get rid of the random dumps that cost the country's treasury huge amounts of money to remove. It is worth mentioning that this procedure will help the owners and investors in the Marota City project to accelerate the excavation work to implement the construction work in accordance with the adapted procedures. Especially since the new site of the dump is characterized by its proximity to the project area, which will reduce the expenses of transportation and relocation thus shortening the time factor. Within the framework of environment preservation, it has been stipulated that the dump land is rehabilitated after being filled with fossil products through furbishing it with agricultural soil and plant it with forest trees, in order to restore them to normal condition and preserve the aesthetic appearance.
