An ad hoc meeting on 16.12.2017 to follow up phase implementation of project 66 in the area behind Al-RAZI in Damascus governorate under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Eng. Imad Khamees at Damascus Cham Holding Headquarters:
In light of the project's importance and to be familiarized with the implemented executive steps of the project -by the end of the current year-, Prime Minister Eng. Imad Khamis met with the ministerial committee charged with following up the implementation of the project and its executives. In order to be acquainted with the implementation rates during 2017 and the work plan developed for 2018, which will be the year of constructing buildings and facilities. The meeting discussed mechanisms to handle the obstacles of project implementation concerning providing the gas and electricity lines that cover the entire needs of the project. As well providing the necessary funding to complete the infrastructure in it, the effective treatment of alternative housing, the executive programs of the project in terms of contracts being implemented for infrastructure, legal, financial and administrative procedures and plans of organizational studies for the second regulated area 102. The Prime Minister pointed to the importance of giving the investment area in the project the necessary attention to be an investment attraction, stressing the government's readiness to provide all the financial, administrative or legislative procedure needed so that the project does not stop until its completion. Engineer Khamees called on the project managers to take the necessary steps to attract investors and provide them with all the necessary facilities to enrich the project at all levels, stressing that this major urban project will be a model for many reconstruction projects in Syria in terms of dealing with irregularities and slums.
